Bio
Tyrene is a dedicated professional in records management and information governance community currently working as a Systems Analyst for the City of Beaverton, Oregon. She began her unexpected journey in the field as the Records Coordinator for Portland Community College, where she launched the college’s first records management program and records center. Through her involvement with the Oregon Chapter of ARMA, Tyrene gained valuable insights and connections, ultimately serving as Chapter President. Her commitment to the profession has led her to volunteer extensively on various committees and task forces at the chapter and regional levels. From June 2020 through June 2023, she served on the ARMA International Board of Directors and now chairs the ARMA International Conference Education Committee, overseeing session selection for ARMA’s three international conferences. In her spare time, Tyrene enjoys sleeping and listening to the full discography of Taylor Swift, her go-to soundtrack for both work and relaxation.
